Objective

• To enrich a student’s academic experience at VSIT where they spend  three of their crucial formative years
• To provide a stress relieving non-academic interaction for students at the end of an intensive academic week
• To engage the students in qualitative activities in post academic hours to develop a sense of attachment to the college
• To provide a platform for students to recognize & harness their talent and potential which otherwise goes un-noticed in the daily academic grind
• To sustain the momentum and scale up further

Concept

To create an Educating experience by providing qualitative non academic interactions for the students every Saturday afternoon which helps them acquire knowledge and skills essential for their personality development and provide a platform for students to express their talent for which VSIT created “Shanivar Manch”.

The various activities conducted as part of Shanivar Manch are:

• Workshops – Chess,Rangoli,Nail Art,Sari Designing etc
• Movie Screening – Inspirational & Educative
• Sports Competitions – Inter and Intra College
• Dance – National and International dance forms
• Music sessions – College bands performing for their fellow students
• Quizzes and Debates
